There is a difference. While you pick what is right and wrong and advocate breaking the law because of your views, I admit that speeding is wrong and the lawbreaker should be punished. I don't advocate that you break the law and speed. You are claiming that your freedoms are more important than mine. I make no such claim and say that speeding is wrong. There is no hypocrisy there.
If you want to change laws as opposed to blindly following them or ignoring them, do it from within the system. That is what it was created for. That is the difference between the Tea Party and Occupy (insert place here).

So I will ask you a very simple question. you suggest change within the system. you suggest that you must always obey laws. yet you repeatedly ignore my references to unjust laws that actually destroy lives. The unjust ruling of a sex offender because they allowed their daughter to have sex with a man she later married. The fact that if everyone in the nation stood up and said no to the idea of sending Asian Americans to concentration camps then they would not have spent years locked away like animals.
Tell me.....if you had a person from that era...if there was a man or woman standing before you that suffered within the flawed regulatory system based on their ethnic descent what would you say?
sorry about your suffering....but I can't break any laws....you just have to wait till we change it and watch them marched off to the camps.
And this is exactly what happened. Will you give them the years they were locked away back?
how about Rosa Parks. you know she actually broke the law when she did not give up her seat. yet her defiance rallied a community and later helped rally the country. Should Martin Luther King Jr. have simply shut up and stopped marching? Because he was breaking the law in nearly all of his actions. Do you honestly believe such actions should never have occurred....or perhaps you think its different...yet again.
At least there is good news. Now I know why American rights have been stripped away...too many people are just unwilling to stand up for themselves.
As far as the Tea Party goes...I will not start another mini thread about the countless leaders who commit the same crimes as any other politician or CEO.
If you are simply going to ignore the list after list of unjust laws that have led to suffering at the obedience of those laws I consider this topic finished.

Anybody can claim that a law is unjust and point to examples to support their position as you do. It is your opinion that such and such law is unjust. That may not be my opinion. Again, you are trying to justify advocating breaking a law because it happens to offend you and in your mind it is unjust. My opinion of the same law isn't important to you. You are imposing your sense of right and wrong upon me while skirting the process of changing the law.
A good example is the slowly changing abortion laws. My opinion of right and wrong may not be the same as yours. The process is slowly and surely changing laws to restrict abortion and pushing the line in my direction. I don't advocate ignoring a law that you or I may or may not like.
To use your own words, there is no such thing as unrestricted freedom. There shouldn't be. That is anarchy and lawlessness.

well...the topic is closed to me now. you have skirted my direct questions on law breaking that did change the laws. Also..I never said I wouldn't pursue it as far as talking to my congressman and creating awareness. You were putting words in my mouth.
I have directly answered all of your responses.....and in return you simply repeat the same comments. This is no longer a debate.
P.S. If our founding fathers followed your uncompromising viewpoint on laws then we would not be America.

The best Occupy can do anymore is "Mic check!" and ask themselves "ummm...what's next?". Apparently they don't know. They are done in the new year as their tactics are rejected again and again.
