http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/09/thanks-barack-90-of-americans-say-economy-stinks-up-9-since-june/Thanks Barack. A new CNN poll found that 90% of the Americans believe the economy stinks. Three years after a financial crisis pushed the country deep into recession, an overwhelming number of Americans – 90% – say that economic conditions remain poor. The number, reported Friday in a new CNN/ORC International Poll, is the highest of Barack Obama’s presidency and a significant increase from the 81% who said conditions were poor in June.

I just read the statistics that came out of that poll and was confused how the headline can be supported when the following opinions were found:

It looks like over 50% of people are blaming the republicans for the current problems and just over 30% the democrats. The previous question was "How would you rate the economic conditions in the country today -- as very good, somewhat good, somewhat poor, or very poor?" and 90% of people said that they rated it "very poor."
To conclude that 90% say the economy is "very poor because of Obama" is wildly inaccurate.
Very poor statistically analysis and consequently crap reporting imo.
Read the statistics for yourself: http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2011/images/09/29/rel16g.pdf
From the original CNN report:
For a White House now fully engaged in re-election efforts, there is one shred of good news: More than two and half years after inauguration day, Americans are still more likely to blame former President George W. Bush for current economic conditions.
Asked which administration is to blame, 52% of Americans blame the previous Republican regime, while only 32% point a finger at Obama and Democrats.
While there is widespread consensus that the economy is in rough shape, Americans have a split opinion of two of its biggest actors: Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and billionaire investor Warren Buffett.
hope this helps *ss*

Banking system now enslaves the world
This video helps explain the present day arrogance of Goldman Sachs, and the so-called Federal Reserve Bank, arm of the Rothschild banking system, which now enslaves the world. The American government is not going to do anything to punish the banks that are looting America into collapse and grinding it’s people into homelessness and joblessness. The American government is a government of lackeys who serve at the behest of the international financiers. The enslavement and looting of the American people will continue unabated until America is fully drained both monetarily and materially. It’s people will continue to be lied to by the privately owned corporate media, they will continue to be dumbed down and made ignorant and controllable. They will receive numerous mercury-laced vaccines to lower their intelligence and set them up for early death and health problems profitable to the corporate health care industry. They will continue to fight and die in endless senseless wars based on lies that profit the international banking system and the military industrial complex.

You can blame the President all you want, this mess was started long before Carter was even in office.
I think it is local politicians and the people of this country doing us in.

That article says that 90% of people think the economy stinks. (period) so the headline is confusing because the statement doesn't state , (coma) because of.....
That is connecting two unrelated points to come to an unrelated conclusion.
At any rate, historically at times of economic depression, the people have blamed the government in office, regardless of the reason. This is because there is no magical bailout plan or tax reform or any other quick fix solution or waving of a magic wand that will repair the economic situation overnight.
It's not a problem that will be solved in only a single term in office. Therefore expecting a government to solve a 10 to 20 year problem in only 3 to 4 years is patently absurd. It will take time and work for reforms to pay off.
