the senate bill has passed, all it needs now is to pass the house and then obama can sign it and its done....
so since all that is left to do is to have the house vote yes or no on the senate bill
why haven't they voted on it yet....?
what's the problem with calling the vote and letting the chips fall where they may....
its not like they can amend the senate bill or anything...its a straight up or down vote on the exact wording as it stands.....
not voting immediately is only giving corruption and bribery a chance to flourish...
at this very moment, you have obama and pelosi asking house members "what can we give you to get you to vote yes"
what the fuck is that......?
if the damn thing isnt worth passing on its own merits then giving someone's brother a judgeship or giving someone a committee chairmanship or offering them an ambassadorship doesnt change the merits of the bill in question....all it is is bribery and corruption

| Clearly, there can be only one reason. As our progressive left intelligentsia will support me on - it's because of Republicans, that party of "no"...you know?

| It must be great to be able to block bills when your party is in the minority by about 40 members. It used to take only a majority in the house to enact anything.

Okay, let's recap - y'all were bitching about more than a year of debate (after 12 years of Republicans doing nothing about health care reform) being "too fast"..and now you're bitching because it's taking too long.
Damn, did I miss another memo?
Patience is a virtue - it's going to happen (and as soon as it does, y'all can go back to bitching about how fast it was pushed through again).
