Kestrel, so you're saying it comes down to one's (or in this case twos') responsibility. I totally agree with that. But then why would you say?...
It's not that Sarah Palin COULDN'T teach her daughter what a condom is - it's that she DIDN'T.
If you're in agreement with me that the two teens knew what they were doing and used poor judgement in not using birth control then that sentence is pointless.
I'll bet every parent who has a teen that got pregnant or got another pregnant has looked back and wished they had talked more with their kids about sex and the consequences. Sarah Palin is no different and I doubt if she's the first Jesus loving bible banging christian this has happened to.
For the sake of argument let's say that all Assemblies of God churches and their ministers preach the exact same thing about sex. That doesn't mean every member of an AoG church lives by exactly what the church says about sex. Just like I said about the Catholic church on birth control and abortion. You probably have a Catholic friend or two who don't agree with that.
