Hi everyone welcome! The Pork has several D/s chat rooms. The Chamber, Leather, Inner Sanctum, Safe Haven, Pandora's Box, and The Lair. Feel free to stop in and chat with those that are there. We're a great group of people who can be a little crazy at times, but we love to answer questions and have discussions. i, personally, always love chatting with newer chatters so pop on in sometime!

Hi. I'm also very new to this and would love some other friends who know/understand what this is about. I don't know anyone in RT except the one guy I met who introduced me to this. Feel free to PM if you want to exchange contact information. I'm going to try and go in the rooms to chat also, but still getting my bearings around here. I stopped in for a bit yesterday, but it seemed like most knew everyone already so I just watched for a minute in the chat rooms.

Hi everyone,

SubNewK... you are correct... it often seems like everyone knows everyone... *smiles*

But that is mostly because we (and i am speaking from my experience in the Chamber primarily) love to get to know new people... newbies are welcomed into the "family" very quickly. We've all been new at some point and know what a big (and sometimes scary) step that first one can be.

As vanity said there are several different rooms here, each with a slightly different flavour... but all have a number of new and "old" patrons who love to have discussions, answer questions and meet new people.

The rooms arent always busy, but other times they are packed. i find 2 to 5 people is a good time to introduce yourself... in a packed room it is hard to get to know someone - although this is often a good time to catch a really good lifestyle conversation.

Why not invite a few newbies to meet up in a room at the same time and get a discussion going... a small group often draws a larger crowd...

And ask questions... Questions always seem to draw people out! LOL

Welcome to the Pork! Hope to see you around.

-vida

Thanks. That definitely gives me some encouragement. :-) I'm a curious person by nature and constantly ask questions much less when I've started this whole self discovery of mine the last few years and now I've ended up in this direction recently, at 40 nonetheless.
