First, a note from your humble editor.

Here is what I believe about health care reform:

1. We need to do it
2. The Senate bill ain't perfect, but I'd take it as a start
3. If the White House, Senate and House can't pass something, after getting THIS close... they might as well all pack up, go home, get drunk, and just go to sleep. Or just slink into a sensory deprivation chamber and sleep until 2012.
4. See # 3

Seriously, I couldn't give a rat's ass about the filibuster rule anymore. Just use reconciliation. Or alternatively, use a gym sock filled with manure. Swing it hard, to build up some force.

If you have a 59-41 advantage, and a comparable advantage in the House, and you STILL can't pass something, then you really should be in another line of work.

But hey, that's just me. What do YOU all think?http://www.facebook.com/limbaugh?v=wall

If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true, is really true, there would be little hope of advance......

Here's what I believe about Obama healthcare reform.

1. It has nothing to do with an uneducated, ignorant Canadian named Pita.
2. It does nothing to reform healthcare other than mandate healthcare expenses on poor Americans who can't afford it.
3. It will imprison Americans whom cannot afford to pay for health insurance. A lot of liberal elitists claim "It's only $87 a month" to a populous who is already taxes to death.
4. The healthcare bill is facing dozens of lawsuits if passed for constitutionality, many of which cases they will loose since the bill is overrun with bribes and back door deals.
5. The Obama healthcare bill is nothing more than a tax and spend bill and does nothing at all to focus on the cost of healthcare or provide a public option or single payer program.
6. America cannot affort this multi-trillion dollar plan that will stiffle economic growth and job creation due to the increase taxes on employers.
7. Something is not better than nothing when it takes over 1/6 of our economy and places under control of a progressive agenda.
8. And perhaps most important....see reason 1.

Um...isn't name-calling considered flaming?

I only ask because I've been showing remarkable restraint when dealing with some of these ****** ****** ****ing **** of ******* - and I really hate holding back.

If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true, is really true, there would be little hope of advance......

3. Publicly post the amounts of money Congress members are being paid by for-profit insurance companies to keep health reform from happening, then work diligently against anyone whose only agenda is "whatever you want, the answer is NO".

4. Pass the health care bill by reconciliation.

The thing I find sad is the name calling and flaming appears to have been ignored by those it should not be ignored by. We are trying to stay within the rules, which is hard when those who do not, ...well, I am sure you understand.

Iris, you just have no faith in people's ability to think constructively.
