Oh and the one thing you must get if you want to sleep is
a triple king size bed with at least 4 blankets.
You will be amazaed at how much space a 6 months old needs to sleep
or a 4 year old

The biggest thing I have learned about being a parent:
Don't co-sleep with your child unless you plan on having your child in your bed for the next six years or so.
I made the mistake of co-sleeping and now I can't get my 15 month old to sleep in her own crib 
That's the best advice that I have to offer!
Again, congratulations, you're in for the ride of your lives!

| congrats on the baby girl! i just had my first in november, and i wont give any baby advice (kind of sort of) because every baby is different and what worked for me may not work for you. but a few things i learned on my own being a single mommy....dont be ashamed to get frustrated. i thought i was a terrible mother because on those many sleepless nights (my baby had colic) i would cry and wish she could go to sleep. just take a deep breath, lay her down somewhere safe and tell her you love her but mommy needs 5 minutes to herself. if you have a vaginal delivery invest in super duper absorbent pads NOW!!!!!!!!! you`ll be bleeding for at least a good 4-6 weeks. get a really good supportive bra for afterwards....trust me you'll need it even if you dont breastfeed (i didnt and i thought my boobs were gonna explode). dont listen to anyone who tells you not to hold her all the time because you'll spoil her. babies dont know the difference. and lastly enjoy it! they really do grow fast. good luck!

| oh yeah...i didnt think i wanted an epidural either until i was in labor for 3 solid days. it was wonderful and my daughter had no side effects from it. however i was extremely loopy and apparently starting playing jeopardy with my epidural clicky button.
