I need some suggestions for graphic novels for a teen. I don't care how gory or violent. He responds better to humor (MAD Magazine-style), no explicit sexual content (language is not a problem though). Also, nothing too challenging in regards to storylines.
Thanks for any help!

| My favorite graphic novels are "Batman: The Killing Joke" and of course both "Anita Blake: Guilty Pleasures 1 and 2". The first is kind of self-explanatory, it's about the Joker, the others are a compilation of all the graphics that were inspired by the novel of the same name about a petite, brunette vampire hunter....

Y the last man definately. if going to get a series of trades worth the time
the sin city series also was worth the reads if you give up hope of them making another movie.
If you get the trade of the old b&w I am legend comic series from the 80's worth a read and has an art style and pacing that seems like what kirkman does almost as well in the walkingdead (to be fair he does it incredibly well). same the same press wont rerelease M like that.
lastly for mainstream trade, The original "the hood" by marvel is a good "bad" protagonist.
ones to avoid Torso-bendis trying hard to do his own "from hell" and not being good at it. JTHM-love nny but at this point seems like every teenager finds at least one person with a copy of it. spiderman one more day or brand new day-do not give them money for piss poor writing.
