The impending federal indictment for embezzlement is just a coincidence....
As per usual ....just more left wing bullshit being spread here...the FBI denies it.
CNN) — The FBI, in a rare response to rampant rumors on the Internet, said it is not investigating Alaska Gov. Sara Palin on public corruption charges.
“Normally, we don’t confirm or deny those kind of allegations out there. But, by not doing so, it just casts her in a very bad light,” said FBI Special Agent Eric Gonzalez, who confirmed for CNN the statement he made to the Anchorage Daily News. “There is just no truth to those rumors out there in the blogosphere.”

Watch the press conference - pay attention to her breathing (almost gasping at times) and her body language. The woman is STRESSED about something, BIG TIME.
Another clue that something's not quite right is that she gave the "I don't want to be a lame duck since I'm not running for re-election" excuse. Using that logic, every candidate who serves a second term might as well resign right after their re-election, because they're automatically a lame duck.
She said she's been planning this for weeks. Given comments and behavior of those close to her, I'm not buying it. It's like when Governor Sanford's staff said he was off without cell phone and without telling anyone where he was going because he was "hiking the Appalachian trail".
Something big is about to happen, no doubt, and she abandoned her post as Governor to get ready for it.
Given her past behavior, I'm betting it's financial, but it could also be something personal.
It was just recently announced that Levi Johnston is shopping a deal for a tell-all book. He's got some major axes to grind with his ex-future-mother-in-law, and what better revenge than to get rich doing it?
At any rate, whatever it is, we'll know soon enough.
Of course she really could be flighty and impulsive enough to think this is going to help her political career.
I mean, it is conceivable that she could go ahead and start her campaign for Pres in 2012, and (in some realities), she might even beat the odds and make it to the WH... and if she got bored halfway through her first term there, she could always "pull a Palin" and go back to Wasilla.
