It gives me great joy to hear how well Andrew is doing. i know it has
been a long struggle for all of you. i just want you to know that you
and your family have been thought over and prayed for and i'll continue
to keep you in my prayers. am so glad he is on the mend and i know it
lifts a big weight off your shoulders!!

Andrew and i went to the general on monday for his liver clinic. all systems go! he's on the lowest dose of anti-rejection meds and the liver numbers are excellent!
but the icing on the cake was his hemoglobin. last year, there was a constant fight to keep hemoglobin in the eighties because of internal bleeding, and that was with the help of transfusion after transfusion. his hemoglobin is now 125! fifteen points below low normal! dr. "L" says that when Andrew hits 130, he'll be able to stop taking iron supplements!
