don't tell me a sad story I have lived enough of those don't sing me a sad song I want songs of sunshine
Take a little step in time put sad thoughts on a shelf take an angry idea far from here drop it in it's ocean of tears
take the fury of the raging winds lose them on a mountain top place a rose in your hair and sweet music in the light
leave all the sad things in life if only for a while take the candle from the window ledge give some light to yesterdays dream
just for a little while remember what was real for all the sad things can pass away with time
"to take what is and change it, simply is a matter of belief in yourself"
(This, was written for someone I loved and still love deeply, though very distant. In a sad time in each of our lives, I believe we need to be told to lift ourselves up and see the good we have.)
If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true, is really true, there would be little hope of advance...... Orville Wright
