| This is actually my first time chatting. I have one or two good friends but sometimes their opinions are so unwelcome. I need someone to talk to who doesnt know me at all and vice versa. I thought I knew everything about relationships and was myself a strong, independent woman. Lately I find myself doubting my strength and my integrity. Does anyone out there understand where Im coming from?

Good God, that could have been my post and I just got here today. I'm not probably not as young, always been independent, strong and my own person. Married 20 years, celibate (his choice). I went along until recently went I met someone online (not here) I almost went to see him until I found out he was a predator.
This is a mess of a mess--when I found out and was upset, one of my closest male friends I've known and pal'ed around with forever had one too many, kissed me, decided he was in love with me and couldn't even be my buddy anymore cause now it would be a sin! My husband would be glad if I had a guy who was a friend and lover and I was a happier woman but I just never met anyone I felt that way about and POW, I find I have deeper feelings for my pal than I thought but now he acts like I'm sin incanate. Even my Husband has told him he doesn't have a problem with us having uh, an expanded friendship I guess you'd call it.
What kills me now is that one night I could have made love with my friend,but didn't have all the info on the creep I was planning to visit out of state and said "no". I won't have another chance with him and I doubt I'll ever like someone so much again. It was just a friendship that caught on fire with that one kiss. I've never regretted anything so much in my life and I'm purely miserable.
So, yeah, I thought I knew alot about relationships, men, love blah blah blah and look at this mess
