It is never easy to find the right words to help ease the sorrow of a loss, words do not fill up the void, but words soothe even when we are never sure if they carrying out what our mind wishes to express. Your friendship is precious and I count my blessings for being so well cared for and so supported.
We’re adjusting to dad not being around anymore. His scent fills up my house as all his belongings are now here for sorting and inventory.
What eases the pain is that, after retrospective, we have only good and vibrant memories to cherish and that is so wonderful. Dad would not want us to weep and shut down: he would want us to rejoice and bite into life for all it has to offer, so it is what we are doing. He was solid and active to the very end. He is our inspiration still.
So my most sincere thanks to you for being who you are and being the friend that you are.
