As someone who has attended over 225 concerts, I have to tell you, the Martin Scorcese film, Shine A Light is mesmerizing. If you like the Rolling Stones, rock & roll, live performance, this is a must see movie for you.

I have seen The Rolling Stones live at Madison Square Garden, decades ago. But I have never seen The Rolling Stones so up close and personal. The camera angles and how the concert unfolds is very engaging. Seeing it on the iMax screen in surround sound makes you feel like you are right there. Many people around me, clapped during the concert, got into it like they were at the concert.

Mick Jagger is the showman of showmen. Yes they are ancient lizards but they rock like no one else. They are the world's greatest rock and roll band. The Beacon Theatre, which I have seen concerts at, took on a whole new life. Its a great art deco theater. The crowd is a backdrop to the film.

At times you're on the stage with them, other times you're watching them at incredible angles. Jagger moves, you move. You don't miss a thing. You get great close ups, smiles from Mick, Keith, Ron and Charlie. The energy of this concert, Mick Jagger in particular will blow you away.

My favorite songs were Faraway Eyes, Mick being campy country, Ron Wood on pedal steel guitar and Keith mugging it up on background vocals and guitar. Sympathy for the Devil, with the whole audience, including many of us at the iMax do the who-hoos and raising our hands, was incredible.

Check out Shine A Light at an iMax near you. You won't regret it.
