| | | | with the issue of banning and harrassment and professional vic's all comeing around again, Cradz here is a suggestion from a guy who rides the little yellow computer to the internet super highway so the HOW of doing isn't within my skills but the concept may be useful.
when someone bitches to you or the security time about someone repeatedly flaming or harrassing them rather then banning the flamer, simply put that person on a "security perm ignore" (term is copy writed and willing to sell rights *L*) to the complainers account, and vis versa (the flamer and the pro vic can not see or communicate) make it a locked ignore meaning that only you or the security team can remove the perm ignore,
the "vic" gets taken care of (cause of course they can't take care of themselves) the flamer doesn't get to "harrass" the professional vic anymore, and the room doesn't get the drama or the the censorship, the ignore is at the request of the individual (thus not censorship) whom will have the consiquence and the professional vic, and the flamer will both quickly find themselves in very quiet, very unresponsive rooms improving the chat experiance for the other members,
the added benifit is that this is a one time solution to some very long runnin flamer/prof vic relationships that have had to be dealt with repeatedly by the site without the unjustified claim of censorship.

lol, anyhow, pixie brought up the good point that even if the victim and flamer can't deal with eachother, the flamer will probably still post and the victim's friends will page it to them. >.<
