| | | | | Baby Reese is having a very good day. She's still in neonatal intensive care but they turned the oxygen down. Her Dad says she is starting to look more like a normal baby because she is more active. They are giving her formula and she's so exhausted after her feeding but she is eating good. She even had her first baby poop! yay! The doctor still won't say when she's going to get out of NICU, he wants to take it one day at a time.
Mom, Elise has been moved into a different area of the hospital in guest accomadations. Those rooms don't have any nursing care and it allows Mom to still be close to her baby. She's going to the NICU about every 3 hours for feedings and diaper changes.
Looks like Elise's Mom will be flying in from Australia the end of next week to help out when she comes home. Hopefully the baby won't have much longer in the hospital either.
I'll let you know when Baby Reese gets out of the NICU.
~hugs~ natali |
