| | | | | i use IE and over the weekend.. saturday night i think it was... was having problems as well.. the rooms wouldn't refresh.. sometimes i would get the white page.. page not found other times i'd just get a solid black window.. happend several times |

I don't think it's happening to the vast majority of users... that's what's strange about it.
I'll be setting up a new server within the next couple of days and we'll see if we have the same issue. At least then we can narrow down if it's a code or a server/bandwidth issue. |

but i'm having the same issues as Mira's reported. a few posts will go past pretty normally,then i get stuck on one post for a minute or 2...i can't give one definitive time as this happens at all times of the day. it happens with both IE and Opera browsers (i use Opera mainly)
and another thing,
i usually log into www.thepork.com,when it starts lagging,i just open up another window with www.the-pork.net which resolves the problem for about 15,20 minutes and then it starts over again.

| Are you guys on dial up?
Have you tried http://207.44.130.72? If so, did you experience the same issue?

i did think maybe it was an issue with my bandwith,cos i have a certain amount only per month and then afterwards alot of sites either don't load or are extremely slow for me,but i've had this problem all month through,even when my bandwidth was at its highest,so it rules that out for me too.

| Ok, I've set up a test version on another server.
DO NOT UPLOAD FILES TO THIS SERVER. THIS IS FOR TESTING ONLY! i.e. NO ATTACHMENTS OR GRAPHIC VAULT IMAGES.

Again.. this is a test server and you should not use it to upload files into your account as others on the main site will not see them.
Let me know if you see an improvement on that server. 
It may be a lil slower in the chat rooms because of a component I use is licensed only on our main server so while pages are a little higher in file size hopefully you won't see the 20-30 minute boots. I wouldn't use this test site if you're on dial-up. |
