Ok I have a Friend that had a leap surgery done 5 weeks ago, and my concern is the doctor who gave this surgery told her that she will not bleed until 6 weeks after the process. Well she started bleeding the day she had it and has not stop? And it is not just a little blood but a lot she goes through the 24 pack of pads in less than two days. She had gone back to her doctor many times since and he keeps telling her to wait a week and we will see then? Well my concern is that she is running fever non stop and she looks like death has came over her, she is extremely pale and just no energy. Her blood levels are low and she craves salty things, which before she never ate things that was salty. But i wanted to leave this to just see if anyone has gone through this and if there is any advice that i can give to her to that will help her understand that she needs help. She is in pain nothing is helping or giving her the strength to regain what she is loosing, and i need someone's point of view that has gone through this or has better medical advice in this common area?

The best advice would come from a medical provider. Most of us here won't know any better. If you're that worried about your friend, please tell her to see another doctor for a second opinion

sounds like she has developed an infection from the surgery.. perhaps have her go to an Emerg Department.. have another gyn/ob guy look at her..Bleeding shouldn't last that long..

I've had this procedure....perhaps your friend misunderstood, and it's normal to bleed from the time of the procedure for about 6 weeks...however, she should not be running a fever, nor should her blood levels be low...your friend needs to seek a second opinion, and get this taken care of. Wishes your friend the best.
