Do you still have WebTV?

I could do with your help beta testing http://beta.the-pork.com

We'll be doing a full public beta test soon for everybody else... right now I want to make sure WebTV Users can at least log on and navigate around the site.

I still have some clean up in some areas before we go with a public beta test but non-webtv users are welcome to poke around and get an idea of how the new site will look.

Cradz...i wanted to put this here instead of on the RP forum

using Firefox, i haven't been able to access the Spell Clusters...CM tried to help me, but i still recieve the following error no matter how i change the character around.

The following error occurred...
Sorry the application encountered an unexpected error. Information about this error has been logged.

If you continue to receive this message please contact us at admin@the-pork.com with information such as what page you were on and the page you tried to get to or action you performed (i.e. Updating a Nickname). You may also submit a Bug Report via the Bug Reports forum.

If you're trying to hack out system we track all errors and periodically check our logs. Your ISP could be contacted if you continue to try to hack our site (most have Terms of Use against such actions on their Network). If you are not trying to hack our site then there is no need to worry as we can tell the difference between a legitimate error in our application and somebody trying to hack the system.

Thanks ~chaz~.. I'll go look at the logs and see why you're getting that error..

It can't be a browser issues if you're getting a server error (which is good as it's much easier to deal with a problem in the code than a browser issue).

Found the problem... it was because I use the Classic Skin for development and then copy the updated files to the other Skins and the template for that page wasn't in "The Pork" Skin so it threw that error.

Should be fixed now.

If you have an error in the future.. try changing your Skin to "Classic" and see if you get the error again.. if you don't you can tell me it's a Skin problem...

The Calendar is both. You can post a personal event as well as a public event.

Although we will probably lock it down so that only Gold Members may post personal events and we will have a new volunteer who manages events on the site.

For example, if you have a chat room and you hold a Trivia night every week at a certain time you would contact the Event Coordinator and he/she will place your event as a public event on the calendar.

If we allow everybody to post events it could get messy pretty quickly plus we'd have idiots posting just to be annoying.

I'm now going to lock this topic. Please post any issues you have under new topics in this Beta Forum.

Thanks!
