Superman may not be the brightest guy around
....but he has defeated Doomsday...
and for that, I credit the win to him.
not only because... he's nigh-invincible to everything save kryptonite...
but also... the scales seem really tipped in his favor to begin with
when you compare the two...
...Rogue is afterall, reknown to be a very poor fighter on the battlefield.
so if her leech-abilities don't work on him... she's screwed. *lol*
and if they did... like I said... he's immune to his own powers, so it won't really help her.
I doubt.... that she could beat Doomsday too.
btw... I'm not a superman fan either.
...but... sadly... he'd more than likely show Rogue a thing or two.
if he can beat someone far more dangerous such as Doomsday,
I am pretty sure he could take her fairly easily.

i dotn get why you think rogue to to be a poor h2h combatant. she isnt batman or wolverine granted, but she is more skilled than the average barroom brawler (i mean some on the danger room teaches people to dodge lasers and grappling tentacles) all this while using her higher levels of strength. superman doesnt have somethin that allows him to use his greatest levels of strength aside for field work. even then one could argue that he cant keep punchin at full power because his body wouldnt be used to it.
again lastly, supes has that nasty habit of aiming for the face on adversaries who are of good enough strength to take a real punch. face+ungloved fist=power drain, at least to taper off super mans potency. she gets a seed boost evens out the difference he becomes slightly more vulerable untill the sun recharges him, the end result is supes cant really win concivably."Honestly... people who wouldn't be caught dead in a bad movie or ill-fitting clothes will go months or years with the wrong person!
