| Check out our beta test of Digi-Chat. A Java based chat system with File Transfer/Sharing, Audio & Video support.
This will NOT replace our regular HTML based chat rooms but just gives an extra chat option on our site for those users who like IRC style chat.
Log on with your regular Pork Account and notice your Buddy List comes with you (Sorry, this system doesn't pull over your Ignore List and you can't use your own icons).

| | | | Wish there was a way to tie the regular rooms in with the IRC Rooms. Like NHB messages could be seen in IRC NHB. Guess that would be very complex.

downloaded quickly enuff..*nods*.. clean and crisp.. and very user friendly..
not sure if you need the send message button..just hitting enter worked for me....
as I was the only one in there I couldnt try out all the other gizmos..*G*

| | | | | I like it...but what about a more mIRC like interface...such as an opt to save your own remote script FROM mIRC to your settings? it wouldn't be very hard as it's in SOME fIRC applets now. I just like the preset messages in such apps as Excursion and Invision for mIRC clients. And in FACT...how about an actual mIRC channel to further advertise the-pork. I may be an arsehole most of the time mate...but I DO know my way around mIRC enough to set up, moderate, and MORE than take care of an mIRC channel. I can set a channel up on freedomirc or freedomchat either one as I happen to be an IRCOP on both. I'm also an IRCOP on quakenet...but that network is a headache. and BARARCADE which is mostly warez material..so those two are the most likely and most stable choices. Get back at me Cradz and let me know if you think that's possible |
