FTP Fixed. I changed the IP Address of the domain due to some issues with the original and forgot to update the FTP to the new IP...

I am having trouble trying to figure out the controls for the site. Is there a manual I can refer to? Blush

Hi Io,

Sorry.. no there isn't a manual yet..

This beta test is in the very early stages.. we're just looking at how the server performs and how much traffic a site may receive so we can work out how much bandwidth we need etc.

If you don't know how to FTP then perhaps this beta test isn't the right fit for you. Eventually we'll have some web page based home page creation tools but that'll be at least 6 months down the road.

FTP'ing isn't that hard.. just type in ftp://mywebsitename.pork-hosting.com (replacing mywebsitename with your name) into Internet Explorer and type in your username and password and you'll see a directory called WWW where you place your web files.

Yup.. you did everything correctly.. (you must have done since you replaced the parking page)...

FTP is really easy once you know how and you can upload a lot of web pages very quickly.

i must say that i had never used ftp before pork hosting

and i love what i'm working with

i've had the least amount of problems with pork hosting than i've had with any other host

and to be honest the most amount of problems i've had is ooh 5 minutes here and there of not being able to access m'site or m'ftp

so no big deal
