| | | | april is autism awareness month, this is a challanges that faces one out of 150 children at one level or another, and although much promising medical research is taking place the primary treatment today is long term behavioural training, long hours by parents, care givers, teachers aide's, and members of these childrens community whom commit time and effort, blood sweat and tears to create a consistent stable learning enviorment.
I'm asking people to consider two things.
1. to steal this icon and post it often
2. consider if you are able to purchase an autism ribbon (readily available online at 2 bucks or less a yard) and make up a few ribbons to give to friends family coworkers (a yard will make about 6 ribbons) consider it a chain letter of sorts
