blair witch project - not seeing can be a lot scarier

jaws - saw it as a little kid and didn't want to go swimming for years

saw - not "scary" but an excellent movie

Identity - great cast and story

The Thing (1982 with kurt russell)

(does Aliens count as horror?)

(wants to list house of a 1000 corpses and devil's rejects even though they were not great movies but cause the clown is too fucking cool)

I can actually list about 100 more but the topic said 5 and these are the first 5 I thought of
