| | | | High Tension
Hills have Eyes
Killer Clowns from Outer Space
Dawn of the Dead by Zack Snyder
Dawn of the Dead by George A. Ramero |
| | | | | Alien, Aliens yeah this is two movies, but I count them as a package deal.
Twilight Zone the Movie (terror at 30,000 feet) so sue me, I was like a little kid when I saw this and the scene with the monster's face in the airplane window freaked the living shit out of me.
Poltergiest , again I was a little kid when this came out and I still have fucked up memories of seeing this movie.
The Blair Witch Project. This has always been one of my biggest nightmares growing up, being chased by someone/something in the middle of the wilderness in the middle of the night. I actually closed my eyes when watching some scenes in this movie. *LOL*
The Shining (Kubricks version) this movie always freaked me out cause it took place in my home state of Colorado. Nicholson on the rampage through the ghostly winter landscape with an axe *yikes!* |
| | | | | | Christopher , The Thing another good one *nods* |
| | | | | 1. Re-Animator 2. Suspiria 3. Dawn of the Dead (1978 version) 4. Black Christmas (original 1974 version) 5. The Evil Dead**** "free your mind and your ass will follow" - George Clinton 1971
**** "he who dies with most toys, still dies!" - Marillion 2007 |

1. Exorcist 2. Last House on the Left 3. The thing 4. Alien
four will have to be it. |
| | | | | For me, this movie is compose of 5 movies...but it is only one, my most favourite horror movie is The Exorcist.. and other upcoming horror movie for this year, they said it is entitled Waz.. sound interesting too..
|
| | | | | *adds 2 more that WERE not mentioned yet but are in my top 10*
Carrie and Rosemary's Baby |
| | | | | My top 5 favorites are ...
The Exorcist, 1973 ... atmospheric and downright creepy even now.
Nosferatu, 1922, Prana-Film GmbH, ... Max Shrek ... The question when this was first seen was...Is he really a vampyre, or not? *L*
The Bat, 1959, Liberty Pictures ... Great lesser-known film starring Agnes Moorehead, Bewitched's Endora; Darla from the Little Rascals; and Vincent Price has a part just good enough to top it off.
13 Ghosts, 2001, Castle Dark Entertainment ... Awesome effects, concepts, and monsters. Truly gruesome and genuinely scary the first few times.
The last space is a tie between three, simply because they all deserve mention ...
Aliens, Rosemary's Baby, and the Universal Classic Horrors [that's Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Invisible Man, Frankenstein, and the Werewolf, not necessarily in that order]. They all belong in any horror fan's collection, and should be viewed at least twice a year to remain fresh. *L* |
