Ok, I haven't been in the gaming community in quite some time, seems that life has gotten ahold of me

But I know that every gamer has an old time favorite. It could be from the NES, right up to the Game of the Year of last year. All games get old, and technology changes, but the excitment you feel when you think about that *one* game floods you with warm fuzzies.

Mine, is TFC (Team Fortress Classic - Half Life). I must have lived on a certain server for like 2 years when I was young and not working. There were times when I got so involved with the game and the server community I forgot to sleep. One of those "I'll stop playing after *ONE* more map", but you'd say it at every map change.

I really loved that game and the people I played with, and I actually miss it. It was 5 or so years ago, and the game has changed so much that it's not really worth playing anymore (damn you Steam!!). It's a shame, I really enjoyed my time with it lol.

So, what's your "all-time" favorite, or favorite classic? and why.----------------------

hard to say

all time will forever stay river city ransom.it is the best game combining the beat-em-up with the adventure genre.

honorable mentions, final fantasy tactics, pac man, ninja kids, bubble bobble, dragon warrior, and shining force

As for me, the good ol classic that I can't stop playing?

Pocket Fighter.

Before Pocket Fighter it was Street Fighter Alpha 3

Before that.... Super Bomberman.

And before that... River City Ransom.

But wait...there's more...

well, one more anyway..

Gain Ground. ~dreamy sigh~

Bubble Bobble!! very nice.

I also forgot to mention MechWarrior. Any of them except 4, I hated the 'real' people thing they tried there. aww I miss playing that lol----------------------

area-course it is. it was one of the ones that I used to feed quarters into, like arkanoid, ninja kids, the arcade superman thatmade no sense and had the red kryptonite version for 2player mode.

other fun arcade things I miss... space harrier, time killers, the robocop arcade game, and strider
