wait until you get to the Sandsea the chaining is much easier because you have more enemies to deal with at a time.

and is it me or is Princess Ashe as whiney as Yuna was?

and now after the Sandsea, i'm stuck... I think I got myself ahead too fast and need to lvl up some characters.

One thing that kind of bothers me, i can't control the guest party member's gambits. And they have a ton of MP all the time, and are always too far in the middle and i have to cure them all the time, it's a little nuts... >.<

Not the best FF in the world, but I find it better then some of the last games they have released.

I find the storyline to be very StarWarsy...

You probably took the wrong path to get to raithwall's tomb...stuck on the bird in front, yes?

There's an item that will help you deafeat it. take the second path from the bottom outta nam-yensa and talk to the moogle.

Fran sounds like a whitey faking a rastafarian accent to me. Not wholly unpleasant, but she's part of the reason I had to turn on my subtitles finally.

Really?

Well, to start off, you never have to actually fight the first one. Just run to the next room. If I remember right the only hard part is that the wall can cast pertify...use gold needles. (You can get them from a merchant in the desert\i think...southernmost past.)

Sources say, FFVII is in the remake and test developmental stages for the PS3.
though I've yet to play the FFXII - and when I do, I may find out a few things
*...might find a quick easy way to make money - if I ever decided to play it. ...but then again, I've neva really had a problem with that.

*plays a punk-style-remix of a certain song...*
yeeeeeeah, for those of you -
that wanna know...
...what We're all about
it goes - a lil something... like this.

it's 10% 'Luck', 20% 'Skill'
15% concentrated power of 'Will'
5% 'Pleasure', 50% 'Pain'
and 100% reason to remember the name!
when I enter the arena
I burn the enemy 'in flames'
'Owning' comes second-nature,
that's just 'the name of the game'!
80% fear, 60% gain
90% lose but, they remember your name
*repeat*

*smirks'n'shrugs*
*shuffle-shuffle* that is such a fitting'n'addictive song.

and now... check this out
a lil MK humor

The last I heard, and this is by far not new news, there are -two- FFVII remakes in the works, by two different development teams, taking two different approaches. Apparently they were both so good that they both got greenlighted. Now, I'm not sure if they're both for the same platform or not, but I did see screenshots of both, and they look next-gen to me. I'll have to stalk down some screens when I get a chance.

I still haven't put too much time into my game. Still at Bhujerba, but I'm finding it insanely easy to level there. The mines are great. Hit one of those catwalk areas in the beginning and just walk in a circle killing skeletons and chaining like nuts. I just use Cure to heal, and rest inbetween to regen mana, so it costs nothing.

I'm loving the characters so far. Lamont kicks quite a bit of ass, and Vaan is hands down the best protagonist to come out of an FF game, bar none. Cloud had a great story, but he too was a lost and whiny loser who didn't get his act together until the -very- end. Vaan has ambition at least, and enough maturity to give Basch a chance.

And tonic said Fran had a nice booty. For the record. *heh*

okay, after playing it
I didn't like the battle system, ...at first.
yup. it is very star-warsy
...and... Fran does have booty
(...very important in a chicka) *ws*

the chaining is similiar to FFXI
...but, well... in FFXI a chain 5 would give you 50% more in exp ...since FFXI is very party oriented the best parties who could get chain #27-28 would get uber exp points (twas important since at lvl 74 ...it's like 44k tnl - and it takes forever if you do not chain mobs in parties.)

...Though chaining for FFXII seems a lil useless, since it only seems to increase the chances of loot dropping from mobs (...you'd think they'd add an exp bonus towards a long chain like such.)

I've heard about the 2 FFVII's
but from what I heard one is the actual remake of FFVII ...uber better graphics... ...the summons will probably top most things.

and the second... (if this happens to be the one your speaking of is more about Zack ...before the occurances of what led up to what happened with Sephiroth.) prolly doesn't quite count. ...but then again, I could be wrong. ...the original FFVII there were also 2 versions ...the American version and the Japanese version ...never played the Japanese version although I heard from a friend who got both - it's somewhat different ...regarding animation/summons/etc.)

there's a rare anime movie on the Zack story as well
called FF7: Last Order

*whisper whisper* poor Zack got owned by Sephiroth - no contest. *heh* ...He shouldn't have hesitated. This message was edited by RunSaber on 12-13-06 @ 12:54 PM
