Being a fan of Weird Al, I just had to buy this CD. While I like the CD as a whole, I don't think that it's he's best stuff by far, I sorta thought his originals were - lacking. Has anyone else listened to this album?

And since I'm on the topic of Weird Al {laughs} which songs would be your favourite parody, polka, and original?

For me it's:
Parody - The Saga Begins
Polka - Polka Your Eyes Out
Original - One More Minute & The Night That Santa Went Crazy

{disappointed that no one else is willing to share their Weird Al favorites} There's nothing wrong with being a fan of his {laughs}

Master~Lancelot,
Amish Paradise is one of his best parodies but it's also one that has caused some issues between him and the original artist. According to the FAQ on his website, "That was a very unfortunate case of misunderstanding between Al's people and Coolio's people. Short version of the story: Al recorded "Amish Paradise" after being told by his record label that Coolio had given his permission for the parody. When Al's album came out, Coolio publicly contended that he had never given his blessing, and that he was in fact very offended by the song. To this day weíre not exactly sure who got their facts wrong, but Al sincerely apologizes to Coolio for the misunderstanding."
