have any of you played this fantastic game?
i believe the makers of DDR may have released this one, as well..but i'm not sure. though, it follows along the same train of thought...
you actually have mini plastic guitars with colored buttons and a "strummer"..even a whammy bar! there's a ton of songs on the playlist, ranging from "I Love Rock'n'Roll" to "Cochise" and "Ziggy Stardust" to "Take Me Out"...there are a few hipster bands on there too, like Boston's very own The Slip...
i am addicted. i don't even have a PS2..but i'm about to look on ebay for one. haha. and this game.it's ridiculous. if you haven't played it..give it a shot! it's the most video game fun i've had since Parappa The Rapper..lol. (besides Bushido Blade, of course)...

wanna look into -> FFXI online.
once you start, you won't be able to quit.
it'll rob you of nightly sleep, life,
any other current addiction
and likely even... much needed food at times too.
(...you will forget such mundane things while playing...)

Nope,but I've been a guitarist for the last 23 years.and can really play all those songs and solos on my real guitar..does that count?
the time people spend wanking on that game,could be spent learning the real thing I reckon.awww I know I'm such a killjoy.

In response to that, I also play guitar and other instruments, don't have the game, but have seen it and think it's pretty cool.
There's a reason Gibson's spent a lot of money making sure its guitars--and only its guitars--are in the game: it fully expects quite a few people to go out and get a real guitar after playing it. And, on another note, it may not be a real guitar, but you need to get some real rhythm, and I've known a lot of guitarists (and others) who seriously needed help with rhythm.This message was edited by TimDamnit on 10-30-06 @ 8:27 PM
