Tonight's event is postponed, for lack of interest
A new date TBD
Many thanks to Tthose who took time to show up tonight Vicious Valentine 2018 – Auction NightGeneral Rules
EveryO/one is invited. The auction is D/s and BDSM oriented.
Registration as Bidder and/or Seller is mandatory. You can register by private message with timdrake or elusive. You cannot bid or offer services during the auction unless you are pre-registered.
Auctioneers shall show up 15 minutes prior to the start of the auction to compile presence.
Auctioneers must be present. If you cannot be present, your offer/bid will be allowed as in-absentia bidding.
What can be offered?
** Scenes (private or publicly held)
** Dances (private or publicly held)
** Rights to lurk on a private scene/serve
All won offers must be completed and presented to the winners within 21 days following the auction event; also, winning offers should be posted as ‘delivered’ on the discussion board within 21 days on the event thread, so we can be sure all offers were performed as won and not gone to waste.
If you agree to be an auctioneer, you agree to perform your offer for anyone who wins it fairly, whether it be for themselves or if it is gifted.
Gifting won images to non-paying members is allowed, but the image will not be loaded for use unless won directly by the silver member.
Everyone must refrain from using an icon, except for the ONE auctioning their offer.
Every auctioneer will show: Buyer; Seller; or Buyer/Seller in their ‘attitude’ line.
Auctioneers must be able to receive reds from "Everyone" in the room settings in order to auction, which includes removing anyone from their ignore list for the duration of the auction.
No YouTubes, Vevos and such will be allowed during the auction.
Anyone causing a problem will be banned from the room for the remainder of THAT auction by Pork security. This includes, but is not limited to harassment of the auctioneers, event hostesses, or members. Remember, this is supposed to be for fun, let’s keep it that way.How to play
Each buyer will be given 10,000 virtual dollars at the entrance.
Sellers will be asked to first step up to the auction block and give a synopsis about what it is they are auctioning off. Sellers may post an icon of such showing what they are selling, if so desired.
Before February 12, sellers will page elusive a small write up detailing what services they are willing to offer, likes, dislikes and, of course, any limits. If you like a good flogging then write up something telling about why you like it and maybe a little story to make it even better! If it’s a serve you wish to offer, sweeten the deal by offering up a sample of your handiwork in the write up! Maybe if You’re a strong Dominant, You’d like to offer up a sample of Your handiwork with a flogger or crop.
Auction hostesses will perform the bid calling.
Each offer will have a three-minute turn or so. If the time is exceeded, the auction hostess will call time and post the winner. In order to keep the auction flowing smoothly; any participant found to impede the flow will be passed over and could be removed from auctioning.
Proxy offering/bidding will be allowed only if you cannot attend the auction yourself; the hostesses will act on your behalf as proxy. That person then bids according to your instructions. You tell the proxy the maximum you are willing to pay for a given offer and provide any other instructions for bidding. The proxy keeps bidding until you hit your limit or you get the offer. It is also OK if someone bids on behalf of another buyer as long as they make it clear for whom they are bidding.
We suggest a $150 starting bid; then the auction will rise by bid increments of $500. If there’s more than one bidder, the current price is equal to the second-highest bidder’s bid plus the bid increment.
All bidders may only use the original $10,000 they have been given to buy with, and will refrain from combining their ‘play money’ with any others.
However, a $500 cap on lending AND receiving gifts of money during the course of the auction will be allowed. You may only gift a maximum of $500 and you may only receive a maximum of $500 throughout the evening.
All borrowing/accepting gifts of money must be made publicly so our hostesses can keep track of everyone’s money.
All bidders may bid on more than one item if they still have enough money left to use (i.e., JAE won a bid on X for $6200 so now he has $3800 left to use for another bid).
Once a bidder has used up all of its available virtual money, s/he can no longer bid on any future items (please don’t be too hasty and bid high right off or all your play money on the first item up).
Although the hostesses will make every effort to advise a bidder if their bid is a dupe, it is the responsibility of the bidder to post "rebid and a new number". In the event a duplicate bid is missed, the offer and any other awards for that round will go to the first bidder.
The auction hostesses will announce the winning bid.
The next auctioneer shall wait until the hostesses announce the winning bid before wearing their icon for their offer.
In the event no one bids (which we are confident will not happen), the offer will be offered to a dice roll.
All won offers shall be discussed in private with the winning bidder as to the particulars.
NOTE: Using multiple accounts to bid will not be permitted and the member will be banned from THAT auction.Timeline reminders
