Not to argue in favor or pork barrel politics, but the "wooden arrows" thing is entirely legitimate. The government imposed a $0.39 tariff on weapons in 2006, and the arrows themselves cost $0.30. The inclusion was to remove a 130% tax imposed on children's toys |
