Never saw a bullet go through his head. Saw one go through his shoulder/neck. Apparently what really kills him is Carter shooting him in the gut. You can see the wound in the picture, though we don't see the shooting till the last page when Sharon flashes back to something she did while brainwashed or some such.
Ten to one says it's a skrull-Steve or some other imposter. No one in their right mind would parade a target like Cap out where he's that vulnerable without some serious meta-human protection. It's a setup, cause S.H.I.E.L.D. wants people to think Steve is dead. Someone put Waid and Garney back on Cap A.S.A.P., please. |
